Organisms such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, parasites, animals are main cause of Infectious diseases. These organisms are harmless or helpful but in certain conditions they trigger the development of an infection. Infectious diseases have a range of causes, and they can be found all over the world. These diseases are considered contagious or communicable. Therapy or treatment is the attempted remediation of a health problem, usually following a diagnosis.
Infectious Diseases Journal includes a wide range of fields which includes research on Bacterial Infections, sexually transmitted infections, Antiviral therapy, Antibiotics, Parasitic Infections, Viral infections, Vaccines, Respiratory Tract Infections, Infections caused by animals, Advanced Therapies etc. Its discipline to create a platform for the authors to make their contribution towards the journal and to aid in receiving high impact factor. The editorial office promises a constructive and fast peer review process for the submitted manuscripts for the quality of publishing. Journal of Infectious Diseases & Therapy is an Open Access journal and aims to publish most complete and reliable source of information on the discoveries and current developments in the mode of original articles, review articles, case reports, short communications, etc. in all areas of the field and making them freely available through online without any restrictions or any other subscriptions to researchers worldwide.
The journal is using Editorial Manager System for quality in review process. Editorial Manager is an online manuscript submission, review and tracking systems. HIV and AIDS research is a medical research that helps in prevention and treatment of HIV which is an infectious agent that helps in causing AIDS. Recent shows that the hormones namely estrogen and progesterone impacts the transmission of HIV. Examples include HIV vaccines, drug development, pre exposure prophylaxis. More than thirty drugs were discovered which can only improve the life span of the patient. However, if the drugs were not used regularly, the infection reoccurs in the body which may lead to the death of the patient.

Infection prevention and control is helpful to prevent the transmission pf infectious diseases. Aseptic technique is normally applied to prevent the infections caused by different means. Sterilization is another process of killing microorganisms by the application of heat. Disinfection means use of liquid chemicals to kill the harmful microorganisms. Some infectious diseases can be prevented by avoiding direct contact with the contagious person.

Infection in blood is otherwise known as sepsis. Chemicals are released into the blood to fight the infection caused by inflammation. Blood clotting during the sepsis can lead to the decrease in the blood flow and nutrients and internal organs which eventually causes organ damage. Symptoms include Fever, Diarrhoea, Rapid pulse and decreased urination. Bacterial Infections are the most common causes of sepsis.

Many advanced therapies have been invented to diagnose the infection. Standard therapies and recent advances have been invented in the treatment of Prostate cancer. The treatment options include the use of cyberknives which is the latest molecular diagnostic tool for the treatment of neoplastic diseases. Current therapies shown to prolong overall survival in mCRPC include the sipuleucel-T vaccine, chemotherapy options including docetaxel and cabazitaxel, hormonal blocking agents and the bone-targeting alpha-emitter radium-223 dichloride are the interesting challenges to sequencing and combination of these agents.

*2023 Journal Impact Factor was established by dividing the number of articles published in 2021 and 2022 with the number of times they are cited in 2023 based on Google Scholar Citation Index database. If 'X' is the total number of articles published in 2021 and 2022, and 'Y' is the number of times these articles were cited in indexed journals during 2023 then, journal impact factor = Y/X
